About Us

Hello Auburn!

The City of Auburn's Community Development Department is excited to welcome you to our new community engagement platform! This site is designed to provide everyone in Auburn with a way to engage on projects and provide your feedback when it is convenient for YOU!

Realizing that our time-honored tradition of public meetings and notices aren't always the most...well...engaging...we wanted to create a space where current open projects that are soliciting feedback are all in one place. This is a new way for you to provide your input to elected officials and city staff quickly and easily. Once you set up an account, you can provide your thoughts and feedback on the projects that are most important to you on your own time. This feedback will help shape Auburn as it continues to grow.

As projects are added to this website, you'll begin to see a pattern. Each project will have an informational section meant to provide background on the project. Additionally, there will be one or more engagement parts of each project page. These will be the spaces where you can provide your thoughts and perspective.

    Welcome to Auburn Chris,

I hope we can get some action going on this site. I am interested in creating a neighborhood litter pick up group. Do you think this site is a good way to find others interested in joining?

I submitted a comment to the last City Council meeting regarding the litter at Fenster Natural Area along the Green river and sought feedback on how to work with the City to clean it up. I did not get any response.

Hope to meet you some day and get some cooperative effort between City and residents.

    Thank you for... Continue reading

I am always looking for ways to help our watershed and would like to involve the community around environmental projects. I was advised to call Erika, the Neighborhood Program Coordinator. We talked about how she has been busy getting this new program up and running, and now it is here!

Congratulations Erika and to the City for the idea. I hope many will sign up and share our interests and unite to help make Auburn... Continue reading
