Concerns
In partnership with the Auburn School District, the City of Auburn held a series of neighborhood meetings centered on community safety in October 2024. Meetings were held in Auburn's six policing districts as well as one city-wide Saturday session for residents unable to attend during the weekdays.
Our goal is to execute strategic outreach between the City of Auburn and Auburn School District and you, our community and residents. This first set of meetings were meant to be more listening than dialogue. It is important that we hear directly from our residents about what is happening in your neighborhood, and we want to hear it all.
The dialog does not end because our first phase of meetings is over and this forum is designed to continue to hear directly from our residents on this issue so that those that were not able to attend in person can have their concerns expressed directly to us and with the larger community.
We will continue these community conversations with you while building upon ideas and solutions.
This is an ongoing process, and we are committed to working with you to make our community safer.
At our meetings we asked two questions. This is the first of those two questions:
What are the most pressing public safety issues in our community today?
